St. Elizabeth's 25 Year Time Capsule - October 5, 2014

A Time Capsule is "a container that is filled with items, such as newspapers, documents, photos, from the present time and that is meant to be opened by people at some time in the future."

On October 5th, 2014, during the 50th Anniversary Celebration of St. Elizabeth's Church, the St. E's community sealed and buried the St. E's Time Capsule at the foot of the cross out in front of the church. The capsule will remain sealed for 25 years and will be opened during St. E's 75th Anniversary Celebration in the year 2039. A stone marker, which was originally part of Howe Hall, will be placed on the burial spot to indicate the time capsule's exact location. A plaque will be made and installed on the wall inside the Church as a reminder to open the time capsule in 2039.
