RECTOR - The Rev. Andrew Suitter
Andrew (he/him) came to St. Elizabeth’s as rector in June 2020 with years of cumulative ministry experience in parishes, a chapel, an urban cathedral, and non-profit organizations. In 2015, Andrew was graduated from Vanderbilt Divinity School in Nashville, TN, with a Master of Divinity degree. There, he served St. Augustine's Episcopal Chapel, focusing on pastoral care for the dying and their families, and the recovery community. He taught a J2A program, led Confirmation classes, and also developed and led a Recovery Eucharist.
Andrew was ordained by The Rt. Rev. G. Wayne Smith, at Christ Church Cathedral, St. Louis, in 2016. While there, he preached and led adult formation. Andrew has also served as chaplain and Board Member at various Magdalene House communities, which are residential recovery programs for women who are rebuilding their lives after years of addiction, trafficking, and abuse. In 2017, Andrew was called to St. Augustine's Episcopal Church, Wilmette, IL, a parish on Chicago’s North Shore, where he served first as Curate, and was then made Associate Rector. There, he worked with the parish through transitions from one rector, to an interim rector, and to a new settled rector, and served the diocese as a member of the Commission on Ministry. Here in the Diocese of Massachusetts, Andrew serves on the Chapter of the Cathedral of St. Paul, Boston.

PARISH ADMINISTRATOR - Joanne Byford
Joanne came to St. Elizabeth’s in October, 2022. Joanne and her husband have two children, and together they love being outdoors and enjoy biking and walking the many trails around eastern Massachusetts. In the winter, they swap their biking/hiking gear for skis and enjoy skiing at Wachusett. Joanne and her husband are originally from the UK and moved to the USA in 2011. SEXTON - Paul Lamoreaux
Paul came to St. Elizabeth’s in November 2022. He brings years of experience as a church sexton, as well as he works at the local Whole Foods. Paul makes sure we have a clean facility, works on small projects around campus, assists in the Memorial Churchyard, and more. Paul is with us about 8 hours a week. Maria Eliana Rodriguez De Desarmes - Nursery Care
Maria Eliana came to St. Elizabeth’s in January 2023. She brings many years of experience as a teacher with several years of those spent at the Episcopal School in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. She and her husnand Orek and son, Alex, attend St. E’s as well. Maria Eliana is responsible for overseeing our Sunday morning childcare needs in the nursery.
ASSOCIATE FOR MUSIC - Andrus Madsen
Andrus came to St. Elizabeth’s in February 2024, with decades of experience as a church musician and choir leader. He is a trained baroque organist, and also plays piano, pipe-organ, harpsichord, clavichord, and pianoforte. As someone who understands the spiritual and practical sides of worship music, he enjoys educating people on what they are singing, and likes to inspire musical growth in those he leads. Andrus is the founding director of Newton Baroque, and also plays with the group Exsultemus.
The Vestry
The Vestry is a group of lay leaders that meets once a month and governs the parish. Vestry is resposible for the running of the parish from a business angle, whereas the rector is responsible for the spiritual health of the parish. St. E’s Vestry consists of four officers (2 - Co-Wardens, 1- Clerk and 1- Treasurer) and several at-large members each serving as liaison to a parish ministry or commission.

Convention Delegates
Convention Delegates represent the parish at yearly diocesan events, such as Diocesan Convention. They vote on behalf of the parish in all diocesan matters of business, includeing the election of a new bishop, which will happen in May 2024.

Deanery Representatives
Deanery Representatives serve as representatives of our parish to our deanery (a regional grouping of parishes in a larger diocese) for collaboration, leadership development, and more. This group is slowly reorganizing itself after the pandemic.
